A Dress Rehearsal for Calvary

Genesis 22:1-14

God promised Abraham descendants in number like the sands of the seas. Yet now He commands Abraham to sacrifice his only son on an altar. Through Abraham God demonstrates thousands of years beforehand not only obedience but foreshadows His own sacrifice of His Son for our salvation.
